BLU Grand Mini Review

BLU Grand Mini is a not so powerful cellphone, featuring a 4.5 inches display, a fast Dual-Core processor clocking at 1.3 GHz, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera.

BLU decided to build this cellphone using a good performance Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1.3 GHz, packed into the MediaTek MT6570 system chip with 512 MB RAM memory. A good advantage of this phone is its quite big 8 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards, allowing the user to install a couple hundred applications without worrying about space.

BLU has made a really good optimization job making the BLU Grand Mini weight just 4.66 ounces. This device is available in many color variations: black, gold, pink and silver. Being just 0.34 inches thick,this device is extremely slim and stilized. This phone is quite a compact cellphone, taking into account that it packs a 4.5" display and it only has 5.2 inches long and 2.6" wide.

This cellphone includes a nice 4.5-inches screen with a 480 x 854 resolution, providing this cellphone with a very nice graphic quality.

This phone has wi-fi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) connection type, which is not so fast as LTE networks and fast 3G connectivity, using HSDPA and HSPA technologies. This phone doesn't use a SIM card, because it is not a GSM phone.

This device is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 2 MP front facing camera.

This phone also comes with a couple of useful features like Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This device features a 1500 mAh medium sized non-replaceable battery, which is quite low for a phone like this. A possible problem to take into consideration is that the BLU Grand Mini's battery isn't replaceable so you can't change it when it begins losing capacity, leaving no choice but to buy a new cellphone.
