About its materials, the BLU Grand X is mainly made of Aluminum . This cellphone has a gorgeous design, with a thickness of just 0.36 inches. This cellphone is a very compact phone, given that it has a 5 inches display and it's just 5.74 inches long. BLU made this phoneavailable just in three different color options, gold, gray and pink. BLU didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.82 oz device.
BLU decided to equip this phone using a MediaTek MT6580 chip, packing a very powerful Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1.3 GHz with only 1 GB RAM which is a little disappointing for such a good phone. This cellphone comes with a good 8 GB internal storage and an SD card slot, which allows the user to store a couple hundred apps without running out of space.
BLU equipped this phone with a good level 5-inches screen, and a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution, which makes all pictures and movies look very nice.
This device is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 5 megapixels front-facing camera. The BLU Grand X can also capture Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 fps.

An issue to evaluate is that this phone's battery isn't replaceable so you can't change it when it starts to live shorter, even though with its 2200 mAh you will probably replace this cellphone before it becomes an issue.
