BLU Grand X LTE Review

BLU Grand X LTE is a mid-end Android cellphone, featuring an extremely powerful 1.3 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU, a 5-inches screen, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 5 mega-pixels front facing camera. Let's take a better sight of what this phone can give us.

Regarding its design, this device is majorly built with Aluminum . This phone feels much lighter than what you would expect from a cellphone of this size. While this cellphone is only 5.79" long, it is able to fit a a 5" display. The BLU Grand X LTE is just 0.37" thick, making it one of the thinnest cellphones in the market. This cellphone is sold in multiple color variations, black, gold, gray, pink and silver.

BLU decided to build this cellphone with a MediaTek 6737 system chip, which holds a very fast 1.3 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little bit poor for a device of this level. An interesting aspect of this phone is its quite large 8 GB internal storage memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing you to store a couple hundred games and applications without any problem.

The BLU Grand X LTE has a interesting 720 x 1280 (HD) 5" display, making everything look beautiful.

This phone features Wi-Fi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a router), LTE (4G) fast connection type and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSPA technologies. This phone doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM connections.

This phone features two cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 5 megapixels front side camera. This cellphone also shoots 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 fps.

The BLU Grand X LTE also includes a few nice characteristics as Bluetooth (4.0 ) and GPS Geolocation, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

The BLU Grand X LTE features a large 2400 mAh non-removable battery, enough to provide this cellphone with an incredibly long battery life. An issue to evaluate is that this phone's battery isn't removable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it starts to have trouble holding its charge, although with such a huge battery size you will probably discard this device before it happens.
