BLU Star 4.5 Design Edition Review

BLU Star 4.5 Design Edition is a decent Android cellphone, coming with a fast Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1300 megahertz, a 4.5" display, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front-facing camera.

BLU decided to equip this cellphone using a MediaTek MT6582 chip, which holds a fast 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processing unit with 512 MB RAM. This phone has areasonable 4 GB internal storage memory, which is adequate for most users knowing that it also has an external memory slot .

This phone isn't very light for a cellphone this size, weighting 4.69 ounces. This cellphone is available only in 16 777 216 color. Being just 0.36" thick,this device is extremely thin and practical. This cellphone is only 5.03 inches long and 2.53 inches wide, but it manages to hold a 4.5 inches screen.

The BLU Star 4.5 Design Edition has two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera. It is capable of capturing videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second.

This cellphone includes a very good 480 x 854 4.5-inches display, providing this device with a nice graphical experience.

This cellphone has a 1700 mAh medium capacity replaceable battery providing this cellphone with a not very long battery life.

This phone has wifi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices acting as a modem), 4G HSPA+ connectivity, which is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and fast 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA technologies. The BLU Star 4.5 Design Edition doesn't use a SIM card, because it is not a GSM enabled phone.

This phone also includes a couple cool features like Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
