Score: 50 / 100BLU Studio G2 HD is a not so powerful device, having a big 5 inches screen, an extremely fast Quad-Core processor speeding at 1300 MHz, and two cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 5 mega-pixels front side camera. Great! That's it? No, it's just the tip of the iceberg.
This cellphone is available just in color 16 777 216. This cellphone is just 5.75" long and 2.9" wide, but it's still able to fit a a 5" screen. Whereas the BLU Studio G2 HD is very slim it's not so thin as many other cellphones out there, with a thickness of 0.41". BLU did a great design job making this phone as lightweight as 4.97 ounces.
This cellphone ships with a great Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1300 MHz, included in a MediaTek MT6580 system chip with only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit disappointing for a phone of this quality. A nice point of this cellphone is the 8 GB quite large internal storage memory and an SD extension slot, allowing you to store a couple hundred games and apps without running out of space.
This device is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 5 MP front camera. This phone also films videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second.
BLU equipped the BLU Studio G2 HD with a very good 5" display, and a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution, which makes everything look great.
This phone counts with a mid sized 2000 mAh Li - Polymer non-replaceable battery, which is quite low for a demanding phone like this. An important issue to take into account is that the BLU Studio G2 HD's battery isn't replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to lose its charge, having to change the whole phone.
This cellphone features wifi capability (which it can share with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) internet connection, which is not so fast as LTE networks and fast 3G data connection, using HSDPA and HSPA technologies. This cellphone doesn't use a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM cellphone.
The BLU Studio G2 HD also features a couple of useful features such as Bluetooth (4.0 ), GPS Navigation and Radio, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
