BLU made a very nice job making this cellphone as lightweight as 5.04 ounces. The BLU Studio J2 is available in 3 different colors, black, gold and pink. The BLU Studio J2 is quite a compact phone, taking into consideration it features a 5" screen and it's just 5.7" long and 2.87" wide. This cellphone's thickness , 0.41", is a little bit far from nowadays standards, but it still feels comfortable in the hand.
BLU equipped this phone with a good level 5 inches display, and a resolution of 480 x 854 , giving this phone a good image quality.
BLU decided to equip this phone using a MediaTek MT6570 chip, holding a great performance 1.3 gigahertz Dual-Core processing unit with 512 MB RAM. A nice advantage of this phone is the 8 GB quite big internal storage memory and an SD card slot, allowing the user to store a couple hundred apps and games without worrying about space.
This cellphone includes wifi capability (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ internet connection, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and 3G fast data connection, using HSDPA, HSPA and HSUPA technologies. This cellphone doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM services.
This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front facing camera. This phone also shoots 1280x720 HD videos at 30 frames per second.
The BLU Studio J2 also includes a couple of interesting features as Bluetooth (4.1 ) and GPS Navigation, and a few sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
This cellphone packs a mid sized 2000 mAh non-replaceable battery that can keep this phone running for some hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it even after moderate usage. A possible problem to take into account is that this phone's battery is non-removable so you can't change it when it begins to get older, having to replace the whole cellphone.
