BLU decided to equip the BLU Studio Mega using a very powerful Quad-Core processing unit speeding at 1.3 GHz, packed into the MediaTek MT6580 system chip and only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little disappointing for a cellphone of this level. A nice advantage of this cellphone is its quite big 8 GB internal storage memory and an external memory slot, allowing you to store a couple hundred games and apps without worrying about space.
About its materials, the BLU Studio Mega is majorly made with Aluminum . BLU did a very nice job making this cellphone weight only 6.91 oz. BLU made this phoneavailable just in 16 777 216 color. This cellphone is slim, being just 0.37 inches thick. Though the BLU Studio Mega just has 6.54 inches long and 3.3" wide, it is still able to fit a a 6" display.
This phone features two cameras, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 5 mega-pixels front facing camera. It is also able to capture videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second.
This device includes a nice 6 inches screen with a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution, providing this phone with a good graphic quality.
This phone counts with Wi-Fi connection (which it can share with other devices as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ 4G internet connection, which is not so fast as LTE networks and 3G fast internet connection, using HSDPA technologies. This phone doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM services.
This phone features a 2500 mAh big capacity non-removable battery, enough to provide the BLU Studio Mega with a great battery duration. An issue to take into consideration is that this cellphone's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts losing capacity, while having 2500 mAh you will probably buy a new phone before it becomes a real problem.
