BLU Studio View XL Review

BLU Studio View XL is a mid-to-low level cellphone, which features a really big 5.7" display, a high performance Quad-Core processor speeding at 1.3 GHz, and 2 cameras, a 13 megapixels back camera and a 5 mega-pixels front camera.

This device is much lighter than what you expect from a phone of this size. BLU sells this phone in a nice range of colors like black, gold, pink and silver. This phone is only 6.3 inches long, but it still manages to hold a 5.7 inches display. This device is incredibly thin and good-looking, with a thickness of just 0.37".

BLU decided to equip this device with a MediaTek MT6580 chip, holding an exceptional Quad-Core CPU running at 1.3 gigahertz with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little disappointing considering the BLU Studio View XL's powerful CPU. A nice feature of this phone is its quite large 16 GB internal storage memory and though it doesn't have an external memory card slot, it is enough to store hundreds of games and apps, but it might not be enough if you are fan of the heaviest games available nowadays.

This phone features two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 5 megapixels front side camera. It is capable of capturing videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second.

BLU packed this phone with a interesting 5.7" display, and a 1440 x 720 resolution, providing this cellphone with a very nice graphical experience.

The BLU Studio View XL uses a big 3000 mAh non-removable battery that can keep it running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it. An issue to take into account is that this cellphone's battery isn't replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to live shorter, although with such a huge battery size you will probably buy a new cellphone before it becomes a real problem.

This phone provides wi-fi connection (and it can be provided to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem) and the fastest 3G internet connection, over HSPA and HSUPA technologies. This cellphone doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM networks.

This phone also includes a couple nice characteristics like Biometric fingerprint, Bluetooth and GPS (Global Positioning System), and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
