BLU Vivo 8L Review

BLU Vivo 8L is a quite good cellphone launched in October 2017, which counts with a pretty large 5.3 inches screen, a very powerful 1300 megahertz Octa-Core processor, and 2 cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 20 megapixels front side camera. Let's take a closer look at what this phone has to offer.

BLU decided to power this phone with a MediaTek MT6753 system chip, holding an exceptional Octa-Core CPU clocking at 1.3 gigahertz with a great 3 GB RAM memory. A great point of the BLU Vivo 8L is its huge 32 GB internal storage memory and an external memory slot, which allows the user to store lots of apps, games, songs, photos and videos without thinking about running out of space.

This phone only has 5.93" long and 2.93 inches wide, but it manages to hold a 5.3" screen. This phone is incredibly thin and comfortable, being just 0.31 inches thick. This phone is available only in color black. The BLU Vivo 8L is much lighter than what you would expect from a phone like this. Talking about its design, the BLU Vivo 8L is mostly made of Aluminum .

The BLU Vivo 8L is equipped with a very good 720 x 1280 (HD) 5.3-inches display, making everything look very good.

This phone features WiFi capability (and it can provide it to other devices as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high performance data connection and also HSPA+ connection type, a bit slower 4G technology and fast 3G connection type, over HSDPA, HSPA and HSUPA technologies. The BLU Vivo 8L doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM networks.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 13 megapixels back-facing camera and a 20 megapixels front side camera. Although it's 13 megapixels might sound amazing the back-facing camera sensor size is quite small which makes photographs have less details and worse lighting than they should. It can also shoot 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 frames per second. In addition, the camera has time lapse video.

The BLU Vivo 8L also features a couple of useful features such as Fingerprint Reader, Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth phones and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone comes with a large 4000 mAh non-removable battery that can keep it running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it at all. An issue to evaluate is that the BLU Vivo 8L's battery is non-replaceable so you can't change it when it starts to lose capacity, though having 4000 mAh you will probably discard this phone before it becomes a real problem.

This cellphone is probably the correct choice no matter whether you need it for work, want a social device, will use this cellphone to play tons of games or want it to take many pictures.
