CAT S50 Review
Score: 53 / 100CAT S50 is a not so powerful Android phone released some years ago, in 2014, with a medium sized 4.7" display, a fast 1200 megahertz Quad-Core processor, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. Great! That's it? Not at all, it's just the starting point of a detailed review.
This cellphone comes with a great performance 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 chip with a great 2 GB RAM. This phone comes with an 8 GB quite large internal memory and an external SD slot, enough to install hundreds of games and applications without worrying about space.
Cat justmade the CAT S50 in 16 777 216 color. This phone isn't very light for a device this size, weighting 6.53 ounces.
Cat designed this device with a gorgeous 4.7 inches display, and a resolution of 720 x 1280 (HD), which makes all images and videos look brightful and colorful.
This phone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. The CAT S50 can also shoot Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 frames per second.
The CAT S50 has Wi-Fi connection (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a modem), LTE (4G) high speed internet connection and the fastest 3G connectivity, using HSPA and HSUPA technologies. This phone doesn't have a SIM card, because it's not a GSM enabled device.
The CAT S50 uses an incredible 2630 mAh Li - Ion non-replaceable battery, enough to provide this cellphone with an impressive battery duration. An issue to take into account is that this phone's battery is non-removable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins to live shorter, while with such a big battery you will probably buy a new phone before that happens.
This cellphone also includes a couple cool characteristics like Bluetooth (provides communication with other devices, computers and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This device is the right one for you if you are looking for a cellphone to mainly use social networks and internet browsing.
