Celkon A95 Review

Celkon A95 is a quite basic Android cellphone, which features a 3.2 MP back side camera, a 3.2-inches touch-screen and a powerful 1 GHz CPU.

This phone is equipped with a powerful 1 GHz CPU with just 256 MB RAM. This phone counts with a 524,29 MB internal storage memory, a small amount that might be enough for some basic users having that the Celkon A95 also has an SD memory card expansion slot to store songs, photos and videos.

Celkon made a very nice design job making this phone weight just 3.67 ounces. This phone's thickness (0.45") is a little bit far from current standards, but it still feels quite fine in the user's hand. This cellphone isn't a very compact cellphone, taking into consideration it is 4.41 inches long and 2.38 inches wide,but it only contains a 3.2 inches display.

This phone has a poor 320 x 240 (QVGA) 3.2-inches screen, giving this phone a mediocre graphic quality. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

The Celkon A95 is only equipped with a 3.2 megapixels back-facing camera.

The Celkon A95 provides WiFi capability (which it can provide to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G internet connection, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone has dual SIM cards so it is able to use 2 different phone numbers at the same time.

This cellphone also comes with some useful characteristics such as Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone has a medium capacity 1400 mAh Li-Ion removable battery providing the Celkon A95 with a not very long battery life. Celkon afirms this cellphone has a 300 hours stand by time and a 8.3 hs talk time.
