Celkon A99+ Review

Celkon A99+ is a quite basic cellphone, coming with a powerful processing unit clocking at 650 MHz, a medium sized 4.3" multi touch capacitive display and an 8 megapixels back side camera. But it's time to get into much more detail.

Whereas this phone is only 4.96" long, it manages to hold a 4.3 inches display.

The Celkon A99+ is equipped with a very good 4.3" display with a 960 x 540 resolution, making everything look vivid. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

The Celkon A99+ is equipped with a good 650 MHz processing unit.

This phone includes wifi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G data connection, over HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Celkon A99+ comes with 2 SIM cards so it's able to work with two different phone numbers in the same phone.

This cellphone only features an 8 MP back-facing camera. This cellphone also includes flash.

This device also comes with a handful of cool features such as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone features a good 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery providing the Celkon A99+ with a below average battery duration. This phone has a reported 6 hours talk time and a 500 hs stand by time.
