Eten G500 Review

Score: 29.3 / 100

Eten G500 is an outdated Windows Mobile Professional phone launched back in the year 2006, which features a 1.3 megapixels back side camera. Great! That's it? No, it's only the starting point of a much deeper review.

The Eten G500 comes with a 133,12 MB internal storage memory, a small amount that could be adequate for basic users considering that it also has an external memory slot to store songs, photographs and videos.

This device is a little thick for nowadays standards, being as thick as 0.9". Eten didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 6.56 ounces phone, much heavier than other similar cellphones.

The Eten G500 is equipped with a mediocre 320 x 240 (QVGA) screen, losing a lot of details in photos and movies. This screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.

This cellphone only features a 1.3 MP back side camera.

This phone features a 1440 mAh medium sized Li-Ion removable battery providing the Eten G500 with a not very long battery life. According to Eten, this cellphone has an estimated 4 hours talk time and a 200 hours stand by time.
