Eten X800 Review

Eten X800 is a not very powerful cellphone launched back in 2007, coming with a powerful CPU speeding at 500 MHz, a 2.8" touch-screen and a 2 MP back-facing camera. We will get a better idea about this phone's advantages when we get into deeper details.

The Eten X800 is a bit thick compared to today's cellphones, being as thick as 0.62". This device isn't a very compact phone, taking into consideration it is 4.46 inches long and 2.38 inches wide,but it just contains a 2.8 inches screen. It appears that Eten didn't care about the weight at all, releasing a 5.18 oz heavyweight product.

This phone is powered by a powerful CPU ticking at 500 MHz with just 64 MB RAM.

This phone is only equipped with a 2 MP back side camera. In addition, the camera counts with flash and auto-focus.

Eten equipped this cellphone with a very good 2.8 inches display, and a 640 x 480 (VGA) resolution, making everything look very good. This display uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

This phone provides WiFi connection (but it can't be provided to other devices acting as a wireless router) and 3G fast connection type, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This cellphone features a 1530 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate use. According to Eten, this phone has an aproximate talk time of 7 hours and a stand by time of 150 hours.
