General Mobile DSTW1 Review

General Mobile DSTW1 is a not very powerful Windows Mobile Professional cellphone, packing a 2 megapixels back facing camera and a small sized 2.8 inches screen. We will get a better understanding of this cellphone's features when we get into more details.

General Mobile didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.07 oz phone, far heavier than other similar phones. This cellphone isn't a very compact cellphone, considering it is 4.61 inches long,but it just holds a 2.8 inches screen. This device is a bit thick for current standards, being as thick as 0.71".

This device is equipped with a good level 2.8" screen with a 320 x 240 (QVGA) resolution, making everything look good. Its screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone is only equipped with a 2 megapixels back side camera.

The General Mobile DSTW1 includes 3G internet connection, using EDGE technologies. The General Mobile DSTW1 has 2 SIM cards so it is able to work with two different carriers or phone numbers at the same time.

This cellphone comes with a 1500 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion removable battery providing this phone with a poor battery life. General Mobile says this phone has a stand by time of 150 hours and a talk time of 4 hs.
