GIGABYTE GSmart i350 Review

GIGABYTE GSmart i350 is a quite basic phone, featuring a 2 mega-pixels back-facing camera, a good processor speeding at 520 megahertz and a small 2.6" display.

Even though this device is as big as 4.33" long and 2.12" wide, it only holds a much smaller 2.6 inches screen. The GIGABYTE GSmart i350 is a little bit thick compared to today's phones, with a thickness of 0.7 inches. Gigabyte forgot about weight optimization in this 4.58 oz phone, much heavier than other similar cellphones.

Gigabyte decided to build this phone with a fast 520 MHz processor and only 64 MB of RAM.

The GIGABYTE GSmart i350 includes an amazing 640 x 480 (VGA) 2.6" display, which makes it impossible to even distinguish the pixels that compose the display. This display uses TFT resistive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

The GIGABYTE GSmart i350 provides wi-fi connection (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a wireless modem) and the fastest 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA and UMTS technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

The GIGABYTE GSmart i350 has only a 2 mega-pixels back-facing camera.

The GIGABYTE GSmart i350 features a medium sized 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery that can keep this cellphone running for some hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate use. This phone has an estimated 4.5 hours talk time and a 160 hs stand by time according to Gigabyte.
