GIGABYTE GSmart MS802 Review

GIGABYTE GSmart MS802 is a low-end Windows Mobile Professional phone, including a 3 MP back-facing camera, a 2.8 inches screen and a processing unit running at 520 megahertz. But it's time to get into some more detail.

Gigabyte decided to equip this cellphone using a quite powerful CPU ticking at 520 megahertz and only 128 MB of RAM memory.

Whereas the GIGABYTE GSmart MS802 has 4.61 inches long and 2.35" wide, it only packs a way smaller 2.8" display. This cellphone is quite thick for today's standards, with a thickness of 0.58 inches. Gigabyte didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 4.59 oz device.

Gigabyte designed this cellphone with an average 2.8-inches display, and a resolution of 320 x 240 (QVGA), providing this phone with a decent graphic quality. Its display uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

This phone is only equipped with a 3 mega-pixels back side camera. The camera also counts with fast burst mode and auto-focus.

This phone packs a 1300 mAh medium Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this cellphone running for many hours, although you will need to charge it after some moderate use. Gigabyte informs a stand by time of 150 hours and a talk time of 4 hs for this cellphone.

This cellphone features wi-fi capability (although it can't share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM connection.
