GIGABYTE GSmart t600 Review

GIGABYTE GSmart t600 is a low end Windows Mobile Professional phone, counting with a 2 MP back-facing camera, a 2.6 inches display and a good processing unit speeding at 520 MHz. We will get a better idea about this device's pros when we get into specific details.

This cellphone is a bit thick compared to today's phones, being as thick as 0.72 inches. Whereas the GIGABYTE GSmart t600 has 4.33" long, it only packs a much smaller 2.6 inches screen. Gigabyte forgot about weight optimization in this 4.93 ounces cellphone, much heavier than other similar cellphones.

Gigabyte designed this cellphone with an awesome 2.6" screen, and a 640 x 480 (VGA) resolution, making everything look perfect. This screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

Gigabyte decided to build this cellphone with a fast CPU ticking at 520 MHz with just 64 MB RAM.

The GIGABYTE GSmart t600 is equipped with only a 2 megapixels back facing camera. The camera also counts with flash and auto-focus.

The GIGABYTE GSmart t600 comes with a 1300 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion removable battery that provides this device a quite short battery duration comparing with other similar phones. Gigabyte claims this cellphone has a 150 hs stand by time and a 4 hs talk time.

This cellphone provides wi-fi connection (although it can't share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot). This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM connection.
