Gionee Marathon M2 Review

Gionee Marathon M2 is a not so powerful device, which counts with a comfortable 5" display, a very powerful Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1300 MHz, and two cameras, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front side camera.

Gionee only sells this cellphone in color 16 777 216. This device's thickness (0.41 inches) is a little far from current standards, but it still feels fine in the user's hand. Although the Gionee Marathon M2 is only 5.67" long, it's able to fit a a 5 inches display. Gionee did a great job making this phone weight only 4.41 ounces.

Gionee packed the Gionee Marathon M2 with a good 5" display, and a 480 x 854 resolution, which makes everything look quite vivid.

Gionee sells the Gionee Marathon M2 with a MediaTek MT6582 system chip, backed up by a high speed 1.3 GHz Quad-Core CPU with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little bit low for such a powerful phone. This cellphone counts with a moderate 4 GB internal memory, which is adequate for the average user considering that it also has an SD card slot to store songs, photographs and videos.

This phone has two cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. The Gionee Marathon M2 can also shoot Full HD 1920x1080 videos.

This phone counts with WiFi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices acting as a modem or router). The Gionee Marathon M2 doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM networks.

The Gionee Marathon M2 also includes a couple of nice features such as Bluetooth (4.0 ), GPS (Global Positioning System) and FM Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
