Gionee made this phoneavailable only in color 16 777 216. Being just 0.37 inches thick,this cellphone is very slim and stilized. It appears that Gionee decided not to care much about the weight in this 4.4 oz phone.
Gionee decided to design this cellphone using a MediaTek MT6572W system chip, backed up by a good performance 1300 megahertz Dual-Core CPU with 512 MB RAM. This cellphone comes with a 4 GB internal storage memory, a moderate amount that should be enough for most users considering it also has a slot for an SD memory card to store photographs and videos and even some apps that allow external memory installation.
The Gionee Pioneer P2S features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front facing camera. It is also able to shoot Full HD 1920x1080 videos.
Gionee equipped this cellphone with a nice 4" display, and a 480 x 800 resolution, providing this device with a very good graphical experience.
This cellphone counts with a mid sized 1600 mAh Li - Ion battery that provides the Gionee Pioneer P2S a poor battery life.
The Gionee Pioneer P2S has wi-fi capability (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a router or modem). This cellphone doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM connections.
