Gionee Pioneer P3S Review

Gionee Pioneer P3S is a mid level Android phone, packing a high-tech 1.3 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU, a medium 4.5 inches screen, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. But let's get into more details.

This phone is equipped with a great Quad-Core processor clocking at 1.3 GHz, packed into a MediaTek MT6580 chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit poor considering the Gionee Pioneer P3S's awesome processor. A good point of this phone is its 16 GB quite large internal memory and an external memory slot, allowing you to install hundreds of apps without running out of space.

Gionee just sells this phone in 16 777 216 color. This cellphone is slim and practical, but it's not close to being one of the thinnest phones in the market, with a thickness of 0.44 inches. Gionee didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.68 ounces phone.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. This cellphone can also shoot videos in 1280x720 (HD).

Gionee equipped this phone with a good looking 4.5 inches display, and a 480 x 854 resolution, providing this phone with a very nice graphical experience.

This phone features WiFi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot). This phone doesn't use a sim card, because it's not a GSM cellphone.

The Gionee Pioneer P3S features a 2000 mAh medium sized removable battery that can keep this phone running for many hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate use.

The Gionee Pioneer P3S also includes some interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (4.0 ), GPS Geolocation and Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
