HTC EVO 3D GSM Review

HTC EVO 3D GSM is a quite good Android cellphone released back in 2011, including a great performance Dual-Core processor ticking at 1200 megahertz, a medium 4.3-inches touch-screen, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera.

Apparently HTC decided not to care about this cellphone weight at all, putting together a 6 oz product. This cellphone is a compact phone, taking into consideration it presents a 4.3" display and it is just 4.96" long.

HTC decided to design this phone using a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 MSM8660 system chip, which holds a powerful 1.2 gigahertz Dual-Core processor with 1 GB of RAM. Graphic rendering often consume a lot of processing time, so it uses an additional Adreno 220 GPU speeding at 266 MHz to take care of them, leaving the CPU free for other tasks. This phone counts with a 1 GB internal storage memory, a little quantity that could be enough for some users considering that it also has an external SD slot to store pictures and videos.

The HTC EVO 3D GSM has two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front camera. It also films videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 fps. To complete the camera, it also counts with some nice characteristics: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.

This device is equipped with a good looking 4.3 inches screen with a 960 x 540 resolution, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels in the screen. Its screen uses S-LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The HTC EVO 3D GSM includes wi-fi connectivity (and it can provide it to other devices acting as a wireless router or modem) and 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.

The HTC EVO 3D GSM also includes a few cool characteristics like Bluetooth (for communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This cellphone features a medium capacity 1730 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that provides the HTC EVO 3D GSM a below average battery duration comparing with other similar cellphones. According to HTC, this cellphone has an aproximate talk time of 9.3 hours and a stand by time of 358 hs.

The HTC EVO 3D GSM is definitely the right one no matter if you are looking for a cellphone for playing games or want a cellphone to mainly use social networks.
