HTC HD2 US is a mid-end cellphone launched many years ago, having a good performance 1000 megahertz processing unit, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a medium 4.3 inches multi-touch screen.
While this cellphone is quite thin and comfortable it's not even close to being one of the thinnest cellphones currently available, with a thickness of 0.43". This cellphone is a very compact device, taking into account that it presents a 4.3 inches screen and it is only 4.76" long and 2.64 inches wide. It appears that HTC forgot about optimizing the weight in this 5.54 ounces cellphone.
The HTC HD2 US has a good level 800 x 480 4.3" screen, which makes all images and videos look very good. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
The HTC HD2 US is powered by a good performance 1 GHz CPU, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 chip and 576 MB RAM. To help with graphic rendering, it also counts with an Adreno 200 graphics processing unit clocking at 128 MHz.
This phone has wifi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router) and 3G fast connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
This phone only has a 5 MP back-facing camera. Additionally, the camera includes auto-focus and flash.
This cellphone also includes a handful of useful characteristics as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
The HTC HD2 US counts with a 1230 mAh medium Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this cellphone with a poor battery duration. HTC reports a 490 hs stand by time and a 6.3 hours talk time for this cellphone.
