HTC Legend American version Review

HTC Legend American version is a decent cellphone, coming with a 3.2" multi touch capacitive display, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a fast CPU speeding at 600 megahertz.

While this cellphone is as big as 4.41 inches long and 2.22" wide, it only contains a much smaller 3.2" display. Though this cellphone is very slim and comfortable it's not so slim as many other devices out there, with a thickness of 0.45". In this case, HTC totally forgot about weight optimization, releasing a 4.44 oz heavyweight product.

This cellphone is equipped with a nice 3.2" screen with a 480 x 320 resolution, which makes all images and movies look quite nice. Its screen uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227 chip, holding a good processing unit speeding at 600 MHz and only 384 MB of RAM. Graphic rendering usually consume lots of processing power, so it also uses a 128 megahertz Adreno 200 GPU to help handle those graphic tasks.

This phone features wifi connection (but it can't be shared with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC Legend American version uses a SIM card for GSM services.

This cellphone is only equipped with a 5 MP back side camera. It can also capture VGA 640x480 videos. In addition, the camera features flash.

The HTC Legend American version uses a 1300 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion battery, which is quite poor for a demanding device like this. HTC informs a talk time of 8.2 hours and a stand by time of 440 hs for this phone.

This device also features a few nice characteristics like Bluetooth, GPS Navigation and Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
