HTC Nexus One US Review

HTC Nexus One US is a decent quality Android cellphone, equipped with a 3.7 inches screen, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a fast CPU ticking at 1 gigahertz.

Although this device is very thin and comfortable it's not as thin as many other phones out there, with a thickness of 0.45". This time, it seems like HTC didn't care much about the weight in this 4.59 oz device.

HTC packed this cellphone with a very good 3.7" screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes it hard to see the pixels that compose the screen. Its screen uses AMOLED capacitive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

HTC equipped this cellphone with a fast 1000 megahertz processing unit, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 chip and 512 MB of RAM. To handle graphic rendering, it also counts with an Adreno 200 GPU running at 128 MHz.

The HTC Nexus One US has Wi-Fi connection (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem) and fast 3G data connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM connection.

This cellphone is only equipped with a 5 mega-pixels back side camera. It is capable of filming videos in 720x480 at 20 fps. In addition, the camera includes a couple of good characteristics like flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.

This phone also comes with a couple cool features such as Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth phones, computers and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone features a medium sized 1400 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery providing the HTC Nexus One US with a quite short battery life. HTC says this cellphone has a stand by time of 290 hs and a talk time of 10 hs.
