HTC One V CDMA Review

HTC One V CDMA is a not so powerful device launched back in the year 2012, including a medium sized 3.7" display, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a fast processing unit running at 1000 megahertz.

Apparently HTC decided not to care so much about the weight in this 4.06 oz cellphone. HTC sells the HTC One V CDMA in 3 different colors, black, purple and gray. The HTC One V CDMA is incredibly thin and comfortable, with a thickness of just 0.36 inches.

HTC decided to equip this phone using a good performance 1000 megahertz processing unit, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 chip with 512 MB of RAM.

HTC equipped the HTC One V CDMA with a good level 3.7" screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels taking part of the screen. Its screen uses S-LCD 2 capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This phone only features a 5 MP back facing camera. It is also able to capture videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 fps. In addition, the camera features lots of interesting features like auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, fast burst mode, HDR mode, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone features WiFi connectivity (and it can be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G connection type, supported by EV-DO A technologies. This device doesn't use a sim card, because it's not a GSM phone and it can connect to CDMA networks.

This cellphone uses a medium 1500 mAh removable battery providing the HTC One V CDMA with a quite short battery duration. This device has an estimated 252 hs stand by time and a 7.2 hs talk time according to HTC.

The HTC One V CDMA also comes with a couple of interesting characteristics as Bluetooth and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
