Huawei Activa 4G Review

Huawei Activa 4G is a mid-end device released in June 2012, provisioned with a fast 800 MHz processor, a medium sized 3.5" capacitive display, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera.

This cellphone is powered by a powerful processor speeding at 800 MHz. The Huawei Activa 4G has a little 154,62 MB internal memory, which might be adequate for basic users considering that it also has an external memory slot to store songs, pictures and videos.

This phone isn't very light comparing to other phones , with a weight of 4.93 oz. While the Huawei Activa 4G has 4.8" long and 2.42 inches wide, it only packs a smaller 3.5 inches screen. This phone is quite slim, but it's not so thin as many other cellphones you can find, with a thickness of 0.42 inches.

This phone includes an average 480 x 320 3.5" screen, making everything look quite colorful and brightful. Its screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. This cellphone also has geo tagging and flash.

This phone provides Wi-Fi connection (although it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot), LTE 4G high performance connectivity and 3G internet connection, over EV-DO A technologies. This phone doesn't use a SIM card, because it's not a GSM cellphone and it can connect to CDMA networks.

This cellphone also features a couple of cool features such as Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and a few sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This cellphone features a medium sized 1880 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, which is quite poor for a thirsty cellphone like this. Huawei claims this device has a 3.3 hours talk time and a 105 hours stand by time.

This cellphone is really overpriced considering it costs $ 50, and other similar devices can be found for much less money. Huawei also sells the Huawei Activa 4G with 4GB MicroSD card preloaded with Kung Fu Panda 2 movie and USB Charger.
