i-mate JAQ4 Review

I-mate JAQ4 is a low-end Windows Mobile Professional phone, coming with a 2 MP back side camera and a small 2.8-inches display.

This cellphone is a little bit thick for nowadays standards, with a thickness of 0.61". Although this cellphone is as big as 4.92 inches long, it only comes with a way smaller 2.8" display. I-mate forgot about weight optimization in this 6.49 oz cellphone, much heavier than other similar devices.

This device includes a good 2.8 inches display with a 240 x 320 (QVGA) resolution, making everything look good. Its display uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone has only a 2 megapixels back camera.

The i-mate JAQ4 packs a mid sized 1660 mAh Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for some hours, but you may need to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. i-mate afirms this phone has a talk time of 5 hs and a stand by time of 200 hs.

This cellphone provides WiFi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a hotspot) and 3G internet connection, supported by EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card to use GSM services.
