The i-mate K-JAR isn't a very compact device, taking into account that it is 4.4 inches long,but it just holds a 2.4 inches display. The i-mate K-JAR is quite thick compared to nowadays cellphones, being as thick as 0.64".
This phone has a good 320 x 240 (QVGA) 2.4-inches screen, giving this cellphone a good image quality. Its screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.
This device is only equipped with a 2 megapixels back-facing camera.
The i-mate K-JAR counts with a low capacity 1100 mAh Li-Ion battery that can keep this cellphone running for some hours, although you will probably need to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. i-mate reports a 150 hours stand by time and a 4 hours talk time for this phone.
