i-mate Ultimate 8150 Review

I-mate Ultimate 8150 is a not very powerful Windows Mobile Professional phone launched back in 2007, packing a small sized 2.6-inches display, a good processing unit running at 520 megahertz and a 2 mega-pixels back facing camera. But let's get into more detail.

This cellphone is a little thick compared to nowadays cellphones, being as thick as 0.61 inches. Though this cellphone is 4.66 inches long and 2.38" wide, it only packs a way smaller 2.6 inches display. It appears that i-mate forgot about optimizing the weight, putting together a 5.36 ounces product.

I-mate decided to build this cellphone using a good 520 MHz CPU and as little as 128 MB of RAM.

This phone has only a 2 megapixels back side camera. The camera also has flash.

I-mate packed this phone with an amazing 2.6-inches screen, and a resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA), which makes all images and videos look completely perfect. This screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it's not multi-touch.

This device has wi-fi capability (but it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile mobile hotspot) and fast 3G data connection, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device works with a SIM card for GSM services.

This device packs a medium 1530 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that provides the i-mate Ultimate 8150 a quite short battery durationcompared to other phones. This device has an aproximate 150 hs stand by time and a 4 hours talk time according to i-mate.
