Karbonn Alfa A114 Quad Review

Karbonn Alfa A114 Quad is a not so powerful device, counting with a 1.3 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit, a 4 inches display, and 2 cameras, a 2 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front side camera.

Karbonn decided to power this device with a powerful Quad-Core processor running at 1.3 gigahertz and 512 MB of RAM. This phone comes with a 4 GB internal memory, a medium amount that should be enough for the average user considering that it also has an SD card slot to store photographs and videos and even some apps that allow being installed in the external memory.

Karbonn made the Karbonn Alfa A114 Quad in two colors, black and white. Karbonn made an excellent job making the Karbonn Alfa A114 Quad weight just 4.04 ounces. Although this phone is very thin it's not as slim as many other devices on sale, with a thickness of 0.42".

The Karbonn Alfa A114 Quad has two cameras, a 2 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera.

Karbonn packed the Karbonn Alfa A114 Quad with a very good 4" screen, and a resolution of 480 x 800 , which makes all images and movies look vivid.

This device counts with a mid sized 1400 mAh Li - Ion non-removable battery that provides this cellphone a poor battery duration comparing with other similar cellphones. A big issue to take into account is that this cellphone's battery isn't replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to last shorter, making it necessary to replace the whole cellphone.

This device includes Wi-Fi connection (but it can't share it with other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) connection type, that is not so fast as LTE networks and fast 3G connectivity, using HSDPA technologies. The Karbonn Alfa A114 Quad doesn't have a sim card, because it is not a GSM cellphone.

This phone also includes some nice features like Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth devices, computers and accessories), GPS (Global Positioning System) and Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
