Karbonn K9 Viraat is a mid-end phone, having a huge 5.5-inches display, a 1.3 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 3.2 MP front camera. That's all? No, it's only the beginning.

Karbonn ships this cellphone with an extremely powerful Quad-Core CPU speeding at 1300 MHz and only 1 GB RAM which is a little disappointing comparing with its impressive CPU. This phone counts with an 8 GB interesting internal memory and an SD extension slot, which allows you to install a couple hundred apps and games without running out of space.

The Karbonn K9 Viraat is much lighter than what you expect from a cellphone this size. Karbonn justmade the Karbonn K9 Viraat in 16 777 216 color. While this cellphone is very slim it's not so thin as many other cellphones out there, with a thickness of 0.42". This cellphone is a very compact phone, considering it features a 5.5" display and it's just 6.02 inches long.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 3.2 MP front facing camera.

This cellphone has a good level 5.5" screen with a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution, making everything look vivid.

The Karbonn K9 Viraat packs amassive 2800 mAh Li - Ion non-removable battery, enough to provide the Karbonn K9 Viraat with an impressive battery duration. An issue to take into account is that this cellphone's battery is non-replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it starts to lose its charge, even though with this big battery you will probably discard this phone before it happens.

This device has Wi-Fi connection (although it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile hotspot). This device doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM services.

The Karbonn K9 Viraat also comes with a couple nice features as Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth devices and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
