LAVA XOLO X900 Review
Score: 50 / 100LAVA XOLO X900 is a decent quality Android cellphone launched some years ago, in 2012, having a medium 4 inches multi-touch capacitive screen, a good performance 1.6 gigahertz CPU, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera.
Lava ships the LAVA XOLO X900 with a Intel Medfield chip, packing a powerful 1600 MHz processor and 1 GB of RAM. This phone comes with a 16 GB interesting internal storage memory and whereas it doesn't include a slot for SD memory cards, it is enough to store hundreds of apps and games, although it may not be enough if you are fan of the heaviest games currently available.
Apparently Lava didn't care so much about the weight in this 4.48 ounces phone. Whereas this cellphone is quite thin and comfortable it's not even close to being one of the thinnest cellphones on sale, with a thickness of 0.43". Lava only sells this cellphone in black color.
Lava designed the LAVA XOLO X900 with a good looking 4 inches display, and a 1024 x 600 resolution, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels forming the display. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
This cellphone features two cameras, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 1.3 MP front camera. It is also able to capture 1920x1080 Full HD videos. This cellphone also features flash.
This cellphone packs a 1460 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion battery providing this phone with a poor battery duration. Lava reports a stand by time of 336 hours and a talk time of 15.5 hours for this cellphone.
This device features Wi-Fi connection (but it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a modem), 4G (HSPA+) internet connection, which is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and the fastest 3G connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The LAVA XOLO X900 works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
This phone also features a few nice characteristics such as NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (provides communication with other cellphones and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.
