LG Eclypse Review

LG Eclypse is a fair quality cellphone, provisioned with a 3.5 inches touch-screen, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a processing unit running at 1 gigahertz.

LG decided to sell this phone with a great performance 1000 megahertz CPU, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM8255 chip and 512 MB RAM. Collaborating with graphic rendering, this phone also uses a 245 megahertz Adreno 205 graphics processing unit. This device comes with a 1 GB internal storage memory, a small quantity that could be enough for some users knowing that it also has an SD memory card expansion slot to store songs, photos and videos and even some apps and games that can be installed in the external memory.

LG didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.92 oz phone, much heavier than other similar cellphones. The LG Eclypse isn't really a compact phone, taking into account that it is 4.77 inches long,but it just packs a 3.5" screen. This device is a little thick compared to current phones, with its 0.51" thickness.

The LG Eclypse is only equipped with a 5 MP back facing camera. It also captures 1280x720 HD videos. To complete the camera, it also features flash and auto-focus.

LG packed this cellphone with a good level 3.5-inches screen, and a 480 x 320 resolution, providing this phone with a nice graphical experience.

The LG Eclypse features wifi connection (but it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem) and fast 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM connection.

The LG Eclypse counts with a 1520 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate usage. According to LG, this cellphone has an aproximate stand by time of 230 hs and a talk time of 3.3 hs.

This phone also includes a handful of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Geolocation, and some sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
