LG decided to design the LG GM730F using a fast 528 MHz CPU, bundled in a Qualcomm MSM7201A system chip and only 256 MB of RAM memory.
LG appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 3.77 oz device. The LG GM730F isn't really a compact device, taking into account that it is 4.32 inches long and 2.22" wide,but it just contains a 3 inches screen.
This phone is equipped with only a 5 mega-pixels back side camera. To complete the camera, it also has auto-focus and flash.
LG designed this phone with a interesting 3" screen, and a 400 x 240 resolution, which makes everything look nice. Its screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it's not multi-touch.
This cellphone includes Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The LG GM730F works with a SIM card for GSM connection.
This phone also features a couple useful characteristics as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and Accelerometer.
This phone counts with a 1000 mAh small capacity Li-Ion battery that can keep this cellphone running for many hours, but you may need to charge it even after moderate usage. According to LG, this phone has an aproximate 5 hs talk time and a 550 hs stand by time.
