Micromax A52 Review

Micromax A52 is a quite basic phone, counting with a 3.2 inches multi touch capacitive screen, a powerful 1000 MHz CPU and a 2 megapixels back-facing camera. Great! That's it? Not at all, it's only the tip of the iceberg.

Micromax decided to power this phone using a quite powerful 1 GHz processor. This phone has a 163,84 MB internal storage, a small amount that may be adequate for some basic users knowing that it also has an external memory slot to store songs, pictures and videos.

The Micromax A52 is a little bit thick compared to today's phones, with a thickness of 0.52 inches. This phone isn't a compact cellphone, taking into consideration it is 4.41" long and 2.4 inches wide,but it only contains a 3.2 inches display. Micromax offers this phone in three different colors: black, yellow and white. Micromax appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 3.95 ounces phone.

The Micromax A52 is equipped with a good level 3.2 inches display with a x resolution, giving this cellphone a mid level graphical experience. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This cellphone is only equipped with a 2 mega-pixels back facing camera.

This phone comes with a medium 1280 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a device like this. This cellphone has an aproximate 182 hs stand by time and a 5 hs talk time according to Micromax.

This phone provides wifi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a router or modem) and fast 3G data connection, using HSPA and EDGE technologies. This device has dual SIM cards so it's able to use 2 different carriers or phone numbers at the same time.

This cellphone also includes a few cool features like Bluetooth (allows communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS, and some sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
