Micromax A85 Review

Micromax A85 is a low-end cellphone, coming with a 3.8 inches multi touch display, a good performance Dual-Core processing unit running at 1 gigahertz, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera.

Micromax justmade this phone in black color. This cellphone is quite thick for today's standards, being as thick as 0.54 inches.

Micromax decided to power this cellphone with a fast Dual-Core processor ticking at 1000 megahertz, packed into a NVIDIA Tegra 2 system chip. This cellphone has anice 8 GB internal storage and an SD card slot, which allows the user to install a couple hundred apps and games without running out of space.

This phone has a good looking 3.8-inches display with a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look vivid. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This cellphone counts with Wi-Fi connection (and it can be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM services.

The Micromax A85 features two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera.

This cellphone also features a couple of nice features as Bluetooth (enables communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.

This cellphone counts with a good 1500 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this phone with a poor battery life. Micromax informs a stand by time of 250 hours and a talk time of 3.3 hours for this phone.
