The Micromax Canvas 1 feels much lighter than what you expect from a phone this size. The Micromax Canvas 1 is just available in color 16 777 216. Talking about its materials quality, this cellphone is majorly built with Metal . Although this cellphone only has 5.63 inches long, it still manages to hold a 5" display. This device is just 0.33" thick, making its way into the thinnest cellphones podium.
This cellphone includes a good level 720 x 1280 (HD) 5" screen, which makes everything look very nice.
Micromax decided to sell this phone with a great Quad-Core CPU running at 1.3 gigahertz, included in a MediaTek MT6737 chip with a large 2 GB of RAM. A good point of this cellphone is its 16 GB quite big internal memory and a slot for an external memory card, allowing the user to install a couple hundred games and applications without any trouble.
This phone has wi-fi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot). The Micromax Canvas 1 doesn't have a SIM card, because it is not a GSM cellphone.
The Micromax Canvas 1 has two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 5 megapixels front camera. It is also able to shoot Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 frames per second.
The Micromax Canvas 1 also features a couple nice characteristics such as Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth cellphones, computers and accessories), GPS Localization and Radio, and a few sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
The Micromax Canvas 1 packs a 2500 mAh high capacity non-removable battery, enough to provide this phone with a marvelous battery life. An issue to take into account is that this phone's battery isn't replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to have trouble holding its charge, while with such a big battery you will probably discard this phone before that becomes a real problem.
