Motorola FLIPOUT Review

Motorola FLIPOUT is a decent Android cellphone launched back in 2010, provisioned with a 3 mega-pixels back facing camera, a quite powerful 720 megahertz CPU and a 2.8-inches multi-touch screen.

In this case, Motorola didn't care about the weight at all, releasing a 4.23 ounces heavyweight product. This phone is quite thick compared to today's devices, with a thickness of 0.67 inches.

The Motorola FLIPOUT is equipped with an average 240 x 320 (QVGA) 2.8-inches screen, which makes all pictures and movies look quite nice. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This phone is equipped with a fast 720 megahertz processing unit and 512 MB of RAM.

This phone is equipped with only a 3 megapixels back facing camera. It is capable of capturing videos in 352x288 at 25 fps.

This device comes with a 1170 mAh small Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is not really enough for a consuming cellphone like this. This phone has a reported stand by time of 365 hs and a talk time of 6 hours according to Motorola.

This phone features wifi capability (although it can't be shared with other devices as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This device works with a SIM card for GSM connection.

This phone also features a handful of useful features such as Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth cellphones and accessories), GPS Localization and FM Radio, and Compass.
