Motorola GLAM Review

Motorola GLAM is a decently made phone, packed with a 3.7-inches touch-screen, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a quite powerful 550 MHz processor.

Motorola decided to build this cellphone with a TI OMAP3430 system chip, which holds a powerful CPU clocking at 550 megahertz with 512 MB of RAM. To handle graphic calculations, it also has a 200 MHz PowerVR SGX530 GPU.

The Motorola GLAM is available only in color black. This phone is very thin, but it's not so thin as many other phones currently available, with a thickness of 0.46". Apparently Motorola forgot about weight optimization in this 4.81 oz device.

This device is only equipped with a 5 MP back facing camera. It is capable of filming videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 22 fps. Additionally, the camera includes flash.

Motorola equipped this phone with a very good 3.7-inches screen, and a resolution of 854 x 480 , providing this phone with a good image quality.

This cellphone packs a 1390 mAh medium sized removable battery, which is quite low for a device like this. According to Motorola, this phone has an estimated 280 hs stand by time and a 4.5 hs talk time.

This phone counts with Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G internet connection, using HSPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

The Motorola GLAM also comes with a handful of cool features such as Bluetooth, GPS and TV, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
