Motorola i940 Review

Motorola i940 is a decently made cellphone launched back in the year 2012, including a 5 megapixels back side camera, a 3.5" display and a good 504 MHz processing unit. We will get a better idea about this cellphone's advantages when we get into specific details.

Motorola decided to build this device with a fast 504 MHz processing unit with just 256 MB RAM memory. The Motorola i940 has a 524,29 MB internal memory, a poor amount that might be adequate for some users having that this phone also has a slot for an SD memory card to store photographs and videos and even some apps that can be installed in the external memory.

This phone is 4.72 inches long, but it is only able to pack a much smaller 3.5" screen. This phone is a bit thick compared to today's phones, with a thickness of 0.57 inches. It appears that Motorola totally forgot about weight optimization, leaving it live with a weight of 5.29 oz.

The Motorola i940 only has a 5 MP back side camera. It is capable of capturing videos up to 352x288 at 15 fps. In addition, the camera has auto-focus and flash.

Motorola packed the Motorola i940 with a good 3.5" display, and a resolution of 480 x 320 , which makes everything look quite vivid. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This device provides wifi connection (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a router). This phone doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM services.

The Motorola i940 also comes with a couple of cool characteristics as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Motorola i940 uses a 1820 mAh medium Li-Ion removable battery providing this phone with a quite short battery duration. This device has an estimated 135 hs stand by time and a 6.8 hours talk time.
