Motorola MILESTONE US Review

Motorola MILESTONE US is a decent quality Android cellphone, which counts with a 3.7-inches multi-touch screen, a quite powerful 600 MHz processor and a 5 megapixels back-facing camera. We will get a better understanding of this phone's advantages when we get into deeper details.

In this case, Motorola decided not to care about this cellphone weight at all, putting together a 5.96 ounces device. The Motorola MILESTONE US is a little thick compared to current phones, with a thickness of 0.54 inches.

This phone is powered by a TI OMAP3430 chip, backed up by a good 600 MHz CPU and just 256 MB RAM. Graphic calculations generally eats a lot of processor cycles, so it also has a 200 MHz PowerVR SGX530 GPU to help the CPU with those tasks.

This cellphone is equipped with only a 5 megapixels back-facing camera. It is also able to capture 720x480 videos at 24 frames per second. Additionally, the camera counts with a couple of nice features: auto-focus, flash, digital image stabilization and geo tagging.

Motorola packed this phone with a good looking 3.7 inches display, and a resolution of 854 x 480 , which makes all pictures and movies look very good. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The Motorola MILESTONE US counts with a mid sized 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. This cellphone has an aproximate 6.5 hours talk time and a 350 hours stand by time.

This cellphone provides Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Motorola MILESTONE US works with a SIM card to use GSM services.

This cellphone also features a couple of interesting features like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
