Motorola XT316 Review

Motorola XT316 is a fair quality cellphone launched in 2011, packing a compact 2.8 inches screen, a good processor speeding at 600 MHz and a 3 megapixels back camera.

Motorola decided to equip this cellphone with a quite powerful 600 megahertz CPU, included in a Qualcomm MSM7227-1 chip with only 256 MB RAM memory.

This cellphone feels a bit heavy comparing to other devices , weighting 3.88 oz. While this cellphone is 4.59" long, it only packs a way smaller 2.8 inches screen. This device is a little bit thick compared to nowadays devices, with its 0.53" thickness.

This phone has only a 3 MP back camera. It can also capture videos in VGA 640x480 at 24 fps.

This device has a good level 320 x 240 (QVGA) 2.8 inches display, which makes all pictures and movies look quite colorful and brightful. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, but it's not multi-touch.

The Motorola XT316 has a medium sized 1420 mAh Li-Ion battery providing this phone with a quite short battery duration.

This phone features wifi connectivity (but it can't be shared with other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connection type, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card to use GSM services.

This cellphone also includes a couple of useful characteristics as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
