Nokia 8.1 Review

Nokia 8.1 is a great quality Android cellphone launched many years ago, packing a really big 6.2" display, a very powerful Octa-Core processing unit speeding at 2200 MHz, and 2 cameras, a 12 megapixels back-facing camera and a 20 mega-pixels front camera.

Regarding its construction quality, this phone is majorly created with Glass and Plastic . Nokia offers this cellphone in 3 different colors: blue, brown and silver. Nokia has made an amazing design job making this phone weight just 6.35 ounces. The Nokia 8.1 is slim and comfortable, with a thickness of just 0.31 inches. Although this device is only 6.09" long, it is able to fit a a 6.2" display.

Nokia designed this phone with a gorgeous 6.2" screen, and a 1080 x 2280 resolution, which makes all images and videos look vivid and colorful.

Nokia decided to build this device using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SDM710 chip, which holds an extremely fast Octa-Core processor running at 2.2 gigahertz with a great 4 GB of RAM. This phone comes with an excellent 64 GB internal storage memory and an external SD slot, more than enough to install hundreds of apps without having to worry about filling the cellphone.

This phone has two cameras, a 12 MP back camera and a 20 mega-pixels front facing camera. Its back camera lens has a 1.8 aperture so it can shoot beautiful photos even in low-light situations. It can also film videos up to 3840x2160 (4K) at 30 frames per second.

The Nokia 8.1 has a high capacity 3500 mAh Li - Ion non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it. An issue to take into account is that this phone's battery is non-removable so you can't change it when it begins losing capacity, even though with its 3500 mAh you will probably replace this phone before it becomes a real problem.

The Nokia 8.1 offers Wi-Fi connection (and it can be shared with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE-A 4G , a really fast connection type and also HSPA+ connection type (a bit slower 4G network) and the fastest 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This device works with a Nano SIM card to use GSM services.

This cellphone also includes a lot of interesting features like Fingerprint Identification, Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
