OPPO A52 Review

OPPO A52 is a very solid Android cellphone launched some years ago, in 2020, counting with an extremely powerful Octa-Core CPU clocking at 2000 MHz, a really big 6.5-inches screen, and 2 cameras, a 12 MP back facing camera and a 16 MP front side camera. But let's get into a bit more details.

Oppo decided to build this cellphone using a very powerful Octa-Core processor speeding at 2000 megahertz, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SM6125 system chip and a great 4 GB RAM. An amazing aspect of this device is its large 64 GB internal storage and even though it doesn't come with a slot for external memory cards, it it is more than enough to store hundreds of applications and even the largest games available nowadays without having to worry about filling it.

Oppo appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 6.77 ounces device. This phone is very thin and comfortable, with a thickness of just 0.35 inches. The OPPO A52 is only 6.38" long, but it still manages to hold a 6.5 inches display. This cellphone is available in 2 colors, stream white and twilight lack.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 12 MP back side camera and a 16 mega-pixels front side camera. the OPPO A52's back side camera lens has a F1.7 aperture so it can capture excellent photos even in dark situations. This phone also shoots videos up to 3840x2160 (4K) at 30 frames per second, and 1920x1080 Full HD slow motion videos up to 120 fps (4 times slower than regular videos). In addition, the camera counts with time lapse video.

Oppo designed the OPPO A52 with a spectacular 6.5" screen, and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 , making everything look completely perfect.

This phone has Wi-Fi connectivity (which it can share with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), LTE-A 4G super quick connection type and also HSPA+ data connection (which is a slower 4G type) and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This cellphone works with a Nano SIM card for GSM networks.

This phone also features a couple interesting characteristics as Fingerprint ID, Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth phones and accessories) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone packs a 5000 mAh great Li - Polymer non-replaceable battery that can keep this cellphone running for many hours without having to charge it at all. An issue to take into consideration is that the OPPO A52's battery is not removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to lose capacity, while with such a huge battery size you will probably replace this phone before it becomes an issue.
