OPPO R9s Plus Review

OPPO R9s Plus is an amazing Android cellphone released back in 2016, equipped with a really big 6 inches display, a 1.95 GHz Octa-Core processing unit, and 2 cameras, a 16 mega-pixels back side camera and a 16 megapixels front side camera.

This device is much lighter than what one would expect from a cellphone like this. This cellphone is sold in two different color options, gold and pink. This cellphone is a compact cellphone, taking into account that it presents a 6" screen and it only has 6.44 inches long and 3.18 inches wide. Being just 0.29 inches thick,this cellphone is very thin and practical.

Oppo designed this phone with an awesome 6-inches screen, and a 1080 x 1920 (Full HD) resolution, which makes it impossible to even distinguish the pixels taking part of the screen.

The OPPO R9s Plus ships with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 8976Pro system chip, including a high speed Octa-Core processing unit running at 1.95 GHz with a large 6 GB RAM memory. A good point of this phone is its large 64 GB internal storage memory and a slot for an SD memory card, which allows you to install tons of apps, games, pictures and videos without having to worry about running out of space.

The OPPO R9s Plus offers wifi capability (although it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and LTE (4G) fast internet connection. The OPPO R9s Plus works with a Nano SIM card to use GSM services.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 16 megapixels back facing camera and a 16 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It is capable of capturing videos in 4K 3840x2160 at 30 fps.

This cellphone counts with a 4000 mAh big Li - Polymer non-replaceable battery that provides this device an incredible battery life. An issue to evaluate is that this cellphone's battery isn't replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to lose its charge, while with such a huge battery size you will probably replace this cellphone before that becomes an issue.

This device also includes a handful of interesting characteristics such as Biometric fingerprint, Bluetooth (4.0 ) and GPS Geolocation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This device is not very cheap considering it is sold for $ 520, while many similar devices cost a lot less than that. It doesn't matter whether you need a work phone, will use it as a social phone, are a photography fan or want a phone for gaming, this phone is the right choice for you.
