OPPO Reno Review

OPPO Reno is a very complete device released some years ago, in 2019, packed with a large 6.4-inches screen, an extremely powerful 2200 MHz Octa-Core processing unit, and 2 cameras, a 48 mega-pixels back side camera and a 16 mega-pixels front side camera.

This phone doesn't feel very lightweight for a device this size, weighting 6.53 ounces. This phone is only 6.17 inches long, but it still manages to hold a 6.4 inches display. The OPPO Reno is very slim and practical, being just 0.35" thick. About its construction, the OPPO Reno is majorly manufactured with Glass (Corning Gorilla Glass 5) . Oppo offers this phone in two different color options, black and green.

Oppo decided to equip this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SDM710 chip, backed up by a high performance 2200 MHz Octa-Core processor with a big 8 GB RAM. This phone comes with a huge 256 GB internal storage and although it doesn't come with a slot for SD memory cards, it it is more than enough to install hundreds of applications without worrying about running out of space.

This device has a beautiful 1080 x 2340 6.4 inches display, making everything look brightful and colorful.

This device has two cameras, a 48 MP back camera and a 16 MP front camera. Its back camera has an aperture of f/1.7 so it can take detailed photographs even in poorly lit environments. It is capable of filming 4K 3840x2160 videos at 30 fps, and 1920x1080 Full HD slow motion videos up to 60 fps. Additionally, this phone's camera also counts with time lapse video.

This cellphone counts with Wi-Fi capability (and it can share it with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), LTE-A 4G super fast connectivity and also HSPA+ connection type (a slower 4G type) and fast 3G internet connection, using HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. The OPPO Reno has dual sim so it's able to work with two different phone lines.

This cellphone also features many useful features as Fingerprint unlock, NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (5.0 ) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This cellphone uses amassive 3765 mAh non-replaceable battery, enough to provide the OPPO Reno with a great battery duration. An issue to take into consideration is that this device's battery is non-replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to lose capacity, whereas with such a big battery you will probably buy a new phone before that becomes a real problem.
