Palm Pre 2 GSM Review

Palm Pre 2 GSM is a quite basic webOS cellphone launched in October 2010, with a good processor speeding at 1000 megahertz, a 3.1" multi-touch display and a 5 MP back camera. Let's take a better view of what this device offers to us.

Palm didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.11 oz cellphone, far heavier than other similar devices. This cellphone is a little bit thick for current standards, with its 0.67" thickness.

Palm packed this phone with an average 3.1" screen, and a 480 x 320 resolution, which makes all pictures and movies look quite vivid.

Palm decided to equip this cellphone with a powerful processing unit speeding at 1000 megahertz. The Palm Pre 2 GSM counts with a 16 GB quite big internal storage memory and whereas it doesn't count with a slot for an SD memory card, it should be enough to store a couple hundred apps and games, although it probably wouldn't be enough if you are fan of the heaviest games currently available or taking tons of pictures and videos.

The Palm Pre 2 GSM is only equipped with a 5 MP back-facing camera. Additionally, the camera counts with geo tagging and flash.

This phone offers wifi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem) and the fastest 3G internet connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

The Palm Pre 2 GSM also includes some cool features such as Bluetooth (for communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
