PCD CDM-8630 Review

(CDM-8630) Score: 24.3 / 100

PCD CDM-8630 is a low-end device released many years ago, packed with a small sized 2 inches screen. Is that all? Not at all, it's only the tip of the iceberg.

This cellphone has a little 16,38 MB internal storage, which may not be enough for most users knowing that the PCD CDM-8630 doesn't count with a slot for an SD memory card.

This cellphone is quite thick compared to nowadays phones, with a thickness of 0.8 inches. Even though the PCD CDM-8630 is 3.8" long, it only holds a way smaller 2 inches screen. PCD didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 3.3 ounces phone, much heavier than other similar cellphones.

The PCD CDM-8630 includes a nice 220 x 176 2" display, providing this cellphone with a good image quality.

The PCD CDM-8630 doesn't use a SIM card, because it's not a GSM cellphone and it can connect to CDMA networks.

This phone has no cameras at all.

This phone uses a 920 mAh small capacity Li-Polymer replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a device like this. This device has an aproximate talk time of 3.7 hs and a stand by time of 229 hs.

This device is a good choice if you are just looking for a low-end cellphone.
