PCD PPC 4100 / SP230 Review

Score: 24.3 / 100

PCD PPC 4100 / SP230 is a not very powerful cellphone.

PCD didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.6 ounces device, far heavier than other similar phones. This phone is a little bit thick compared to today's devices, being as thick as 0.85 inches.

This phone has a poor screen with a 320 x 240 (QVGA) resolution, which makes all pictures and movies look like low resolution media. This screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

The PCD PPC 4100 / SP230 uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

The PCD PPC 4100 / SP230 doesn't have any cameras.

This phone has a 1480 mAh medium Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it heavily. PCD reports a stand by time of 100 hs and a talk time of 3 hours for this cellphone.

If you will use this cellphone mostly for basic stuff, you will definitely be very pleased with this cellphone.
